Product Description
AMI series are modular three‑phase high‑voltage squirrel‑cage induction motors built for extreme‑demanding industrial working conditions, featuring outstanding stability and operational availability.
Built on a mature modular platform, AMI motors support customized configuration to satisfy diverse individual application requirements. The whole product line complies with global applicable standards, supporting both direct‑on‑line(DOL) startup and variable speed drive(VSD) running scenarios.
The motor housing adopts welded steel structure. Common standard matching combinations cover IC01/IP24W, IC611/IP55 and IC81W/IP55. Frame height ranges from 400 mm to 630 mm, supporting horizontal and vertical installation modes.
The catalogue displays 50Hz technical data only, while actual units can run under 50Hz and 60Hz, synchronous speed ranging from 500rpm to 3600rpm. Catalog‑included power reaches up to 8000kW, and the full product spectrum can hit 23000kW.
Mounting Arrangements
- IM B3 (IM1001): Horizontal foot‑mounted as standard
- IM V1 (IM4011): Vertical flange‑mounted, shaft end pointing downward

Enclosure & Cooling Options
IC01 / IP24
Internal shaft‑driven cooling fan is fitted inside housing. Optimized air intake channel limits airflow velocity below 3 m/s and sets multiple sharp flow turns, blocking rain, snow and large airborne particles. It provides full‑direction splash‑water protection.
IC611 / IP55
Totally enclosed design equipped with air‑to‑air heat exchanger. Shaft‑mounted fans are arranged for internal and external cooling loops separately. Offers full‑direction dust‑proof and splash‑water protection.
IC81W / IP55
Fully‑enclosed unit with air‑to‑water heat exchanger. Internal shaft fan serves inner cooling circulation. Realizes reliable defense against dust and all‑direction splashing water.
IC31 / IP55
Configured with dedicated inlet & outlet pipelines for external remote cooling air supply, without top cover structure. Dust‑proof and splash‑water resistant performance meets IP55 requirement.

Comes with asymmetric internal air circulation layout.

Export‑oriented seaworthy packing is standard solution, including plywood case or fumigated wooden case, adapting to long‑distance sea and land logistics.
