Customizable to satisfy individual customer and application requirements, the AMI series is built on a proven mature modular platform. It fulfills diverse demanding operating conditions and supports highly‑specialized configuration adaptation.
These modular motors comply with relevant international standards, supporting both Direct‑on‑Line (DOL) and Variable Speed Drive (VSD) operation modes.
The AMI motor adopts welded steel frame construction. Standard available combinations of cooling system and protection grade include IC01 / IP24W, IC611 / IP55 and IC81W / IP55, with standard shaft height ranging from 400 mm to 630 mm. Both horizontal and vertical mounting options are available.
This catalog lists technical parameters under 50 Hz condition only. Nevertheless, the motors can run at either 50 Hz or 60 Hz, delivering synchronous speeds from 500 rpm to 3600 rpm.
The power range covered in this catalogue reaches up to 8,000 kW, while the full product portfolio can achieve maximum output of 23,000 kW.

IC01 / IP24
This weather‑proof motor is equipped with a shaft‑driven internal cooling fan. Its structural design restricts rain, snow and airborne particles from entering electrical components.
The air intake is designed to keep average airflow velocity below 3 m/s for heavy particles to settle down. Three sharp over‑90° bends inside the air inlet channel further optimize airflow velocity. The motor offers protection against water splashes from all directions.
IC611 / IP55
A fully‑enclosed structure fitted with an on‑board air‑to‑air heat exchanger. Shaft‑driven fans are installed inside and outside the motor housing to drive internal and external cooling circuits separately. It provides full protection against dust and omnidirectional splashing water.
IC81W / IP55
Fully‑enclosed motor equipped with air‑to‑water heat exchanger. An internal shaft‑mounted fan circulates air for the inner cooling loop. Dust‑proof and resistant to splashing water from all directions.
IC31 / IP55
Configured with air inlet and outlet pipes for remote cooling air supply. This variant removes the top cover of standard AMI motor frame. Dust‑proof and resistant to splashing water from all directions.
IC01
Adopts asymmetric internal air circulation design.
Export‑grade standard seaworthy packaging, available in plywood case or fumigated wooden case.
Suitable for long‑distance sea and land transportation.
Standard warranty term: 12 months upon commissioning, or 18 months after delivery, whichever occurs first.
