IC01 / IP24 (Weather Protected)
This design features a shaft-mounted cooling fan inside the housing. The motor structure minimizes the ingress of rain, snow, and airborne particles into the electrical components. The air intake path ensures an average velocity not exceeding 3 m/s, allowing heavier particles to settle. It includes three acute direction changes (>90 degrees) to optimize the flow rate. Protects against splashing water from any direction.
IC611 / IP55 (Air-to-Air Cooled)
A fully enclosed design featuring an air-to-air heat exchanger mounted on the motor. Shaft-mounted fans are fitted both inside and outside the casing to supply the respective cooling circuits. Protects against dust and splashing water from any direction.
IC81W / IP55 (Air-to-Water Cooled)
A fully enclosed motor fitted with an air-to-water heat exchanger. An internal shaft-mounted fan supplies the internal cooling circuit. Protects against dust and splashing water from any direction.
IC31 / IP55 (Remote Cooling)
Fitted with inlet and outlet pipes to utilize remote cooling air. Essentially, this is the AMI motor frame without an upper cover. Protects against dust and splashing water from any direction.
