- Wide Performance Range: Catalogue covers output powers up to 8,000 kW, with the complete range extending to 23,000 kW. Synchronous speeds range from 500 to 3600 rpm, compatible with both 50 Hz and 60 Hz power supplies.
3. Mounting Arrangements
Standard mounting configurations are available to suit various installation needs. Custom arrangements can be provided upon request.
- IM B3 (Code II: IM 1001): Horizontal foot-mounted.
- IM V1 (Code II: IM 4011): Vertical flange-mounted (free shaft end facing downwards).
4. Enclosure and Cooling Systems
The AMI series offers multiple cooling and protection options to adapt to diverse operating environments:
- IC01 / IP24 (Weather Protected): Features an internal shaft-mounted cooling fan. The air intake path is engineered with three acute direction changes (>90°) and maintains an average velocity below 3 m/s, allowing heavier particles to settle. This design effectively prevents the ingress of rain, snow, and airborne particles while protecting against splashing water.
- IC611 / IP55 (Air-to-Air Cooled): A fully enclosed design utilizing an air-to-air heat exchanger. Shaft-mounted fans on both the inside and outside supply separate cooling circuits, providing complete protection against dust and splashing water.
- IC81W / IP55 (Air-to-Water Cooled): A fully enclosed motor equipped with an air-to-water heat exchanger. An internal shaft-mounted fan circulates the internal cooling air, offering superior protection against dust and splashing water in harsh conditions.
- IC31 / IP55 (Remote Air Cooled): Designed with inlet and outlet pipes for connection to a remote cooling air source. This configuration essentially provides the AMI motor frame without an upper cover, while maintaining IP55 protection against dust and splashing water.
5. Packaging and Logistics
All motors are prepared for safe international transport:
- Standard seaworthy packaging suitable for long-distance ocean or land transportation.
- Options include plywood cases or wooden fumigation-free packages.
6. Warranty
- Standard Coverage: 12 months after commissioning, or 18 months after delivery, whichever occurs first.
