The YRKS series high-voltage three-phase wound-rotor induction motor is an advanced product developed by our company, integrating over 60 years of expertise in high-voltage motor manufacturing. With continuous optimizations in electromagnetic design, the application of low-loss silicon steel sheets, and enhanced insulation materials, this series achieves globally advanced levels in both technical and economic performance.
Featuring high efficiency, energy conservation, low vibration, and reliable operation, the YRKS series is widely exported to over 20 countries and regions, earning high praise from users across Europe, America, Africa, and domestic markets.

4. Advanced Construction Features
- Box-Type Structure: The frame and end covers are welded from high-quality steel plates, ensuring excellent rigidity and lightweight design. The top-mounted air-water cooler is easily removable for convenient maintenance.
- Superior Insulation: The stator utilizes an external pressing structure with F-level insulation and anti-corona materials. The entire stator undergoes Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) with solventless paint, providing outstanding moisture resistance and shock tolerance.
- Reliable Rotor: The wound rotor is insulated with F-level materials and treated with VPI processing, ensuring stable operation and high mechanical strength.
- Smart Bearing System: Available in rolling or sliding bearings depending on power and speed. Rolling bearing models feature specialized oil-filling and exhausting tools, allowing maintenance without stopping the motor.
- Sealed Outlet Box: IP54 sealed junction box with separate grounding terminals, installable on the left or right side (viewed from the shaft end) with multi-directional cable entries.
5. Applications
The YRKS series serves as a prime mover in mining, machinery, petrochemical, and power generation industries. It drives various general-purpose machines such as compressors, ventilation fans, water pumps, and transportation equipment.
Special Customization: For driving machinery with massive rotary inertia (e.g., blowers, coal grinders, rolling mills, crushers, belt conveyors), please provide detailed technical data. We will sign a technical agreement to provide a specialized design ensuring reliable heavy-load startup.
6. Normal Operating Conditions
- Altitude: ≤ 1000m above sea level.
- Ambient Temperature: -60℃ to +50℃. (Note: Standard lowest temp is -15℃ for rolling bearings and +5℃ for sliding bearings/YRKS series).
- Cooling Water Temp: Inlet water temperature for YRKS series must be between 5℃ and 33℃.
- Humidity: Max 90% relative humidity in the moistest month (with avg. lowest temp ≤ 25℃).
- Power Supply: Frequency variation ≤ ±1%; Voltage variation ≤ ±5% of rated value.
7. Starting Guidelines (Squirrel Cage Motors: Y, YKS, YQF, YKK)
Advanced computer simulations are used to calculate rotor temperature and pressure, preventing early failure during overloaded starts.
- Permitted Starts: 2 continuous cold starts, or 1 hot start (with natural stoppage in between). Subsequent restarts require a 1-hour interval.
- Requirements: Driven equipment inertia must not exceed specified limits, and terminal voltage during startup must remain ≥ 85% of the rated value.
- Heavy Load Starts: If frequent starting or heavy-load starting is required, please contact us for a customized design to guarantee reliable startup.
