Product Overview
The YJS series compact rib-cooled motors are engineered with a rugged cast iron frame, designed for high-performance industrial applications. As totally enclosed fan-cooled motors, they feature IC411 cooling and IP55 protection as standard configurations. For specialized requirements, IC416 cooling and enhanced IP66 protection are also available.
The YJS motor range covers outputs up to 2,250 kW with shaft heights reaching 560mm. Designed for versatile operation, these motors support both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies, offering synchronous speeds ranging from 500 to 3600 rpm.
Mounting Arrangements
Standard mounting configurations ensure seamless integration into various industrial setups:
- IM B3 / IM 1001: Standard horizontal floor mounting with feet facing downwards.
- IM V1 / IM 3011: Vertical solid shaft mounting with the flange and free shaft end facing downwards.
Enclosure and Cooling Systems
IC411 / IP55 (Standard)
- Cooling: Utilizes an external shaft-mounted fan that relies on surrounding air for cooling. The primary coolant circulates in a closed circuit, transferring heat through the external ribbed surface to the surrounding medium.
- Protection: Guards against dust ingress in quantities that could interfere with operation and protects against water jets from any direction.
- IC416 / IP55 (Optional)
- Cooling: Features an additional motor driving the cooling fan, ensuring optimal thermal management for low-speed applications, particularly when powered via a variable speed drive.
- IP66 Protection (Optional)
- Dust Tight: The enclosure is completely sealed against dust.
- Water Resistance: Withstands powerful water jets (12.5 mm nozzle) from any direction without harmful effects.
Packaging and Logistics
All motors are secured in standard seaworthy packaging, utilizing plywood or wooden fumigation packages. This robust packaging is specifically designed to withstand long-distance transportation via sea, train, or truck.
Warranty Policy
- Standard Coverage: 12 months after commissioning, or 18 months after delivery, whichever occurs first.
