Product Introduction
AMI modular induction motors deliver outstanding reliability and operational stability for heavy-duty, harsh working conditions.
Adopting a mature modular development platform, this series can be flexibly customized to satisfy diversified application demands and special configuration requirements for individual projects. The products conform to global mainstream international standards, supporting both direct-on-line startup and variable speed drive (VSD) operation scenarios.
The motor adopts welded steel frame construction. Standard matching configurations include: IC01 / IP24W, IC611 / IP55, IC81W / IP55. Standard shaft height covers 400 mm to 630 mm, supporting horizontal and vertical installation.
This catalog mainly displays 50Hz technical parameters for AMI motors. The motors are adaptable to both 50Hz and 60Hz power supply, with synchronous speed ranging from 500 rpm to 3600 rpm. The power range listed in this catalog reaches up to 8000kW; the complete product lineup extends to 23000kW.
Mounting Arrangements
Standard mounting types are listed below. Other installation forms are available upon customer request:
- IM B3 (IM 1001): Horizontal foot-mounted motor
- IM V1 (IM 4011): Vertical flange-mounted motor (free shaft end downward)
Enclosure & Cooling Systems
IC01 / IP24
Weather-protected design equipped with shaft-driven internal cooling fan.
The air channel structure prevents rain, snow and suspended particles from invading motor internal components. The air inlet is designed to limit airflow velocity below 3m/s to precipitate heavy impurities. Air passages contain more than three 90° sharp turns to optimize airflow. The motor can resist splash water from all directions.
IC611 / IP55
Totally enclosed structure fitted with air-to-air heat exchanger.
Internal and external shaft-mounted fans independently operate internal and external cooling circuits. Dust-proof and resistant to all-directional splashing water.
IC81W / IP55
Totally enclosed motor equipped with air-to-water heat exchanger. A shaft-mounted internal fan facilitates the internal cooling cycle. Offers full dust protection and splash water resistance.
IC31 / IP55
Reserved air inlet and outlet pipelines for remote external cooling air supply. The motor frame comes without top cover as standard. Dust-proof and resistant to splash water from all directions.
