2. Product Overview
The YJS series compact high-voltage motors feature a rugged cast iron frame with an advanced rib-cooled design. As totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) motors, they are engineered to deliver robust performance in demanding industrial environments. The series covers an output range of up to 2,250 kW and is available in shaft heights up to 560mm. Capable of operating at both 50Hz and 60Hz, these motors offer synchronous speeds ranging from 500 to 3600 rpm, making them highly versatile for various industrial applications.
3. Mounting Arrangements
The YJS series supports flexible installation to accommodate diverse spatial requirements:
- IM B3 / IM 1001: Standard horizontal floor mounting with feet facing downwards.
- IM V1 / IM 3011: Vertical solid shaft mounting with the flange and free shaft end facing downwards.
4. Enclosure and Cooling Systems
The YJS series offers multiple cooling and protection configurations to adapt to specific environmental conditions:
- IC411 / IP55 (Standard): Features an external shaft-mounted fan utilizing surrounding air for cooling. Provides reliable protection against dust ingress and water jets from any direction.
- IC416 / IP55: Equipped with an independent motor-driven cooling fan. This ensures consistent cooling even during low-speed operations, making it ideal for applications powered by Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
- IP66 Protection (Optional): Offers complete dust-tight enclosure and protection against powerful water jets (12.5mm nozzle) from any direction, suitable for harsh or washdown environments.
- Cooling Principle (IC411): Utilizes a self-circulating closed-circuit coolant system. Heat is transferred through the external ribbed surface of the motor to the surrounding medium. The coolant circulation is driven directly by the main motor's rotational speed via an integrated fan.
5. Packaging and Transportation
- Standard Export Packaging: Plywood cases or fumigation-treated wooden packages.
- Transportation: Fully suitable for long-distance transportation via sea or land, ensuring the motor arrives safely and securely.
6. Warranty Policy
- Standard Warranty: 12 months after commissioning, or 18 months after delivery, whichever comes first.
