Product Overview
The AXR series is a new generation of multipurpose rib-cooled three-phase induction motors, designed with high power density, flexible configuration, and convenient maintenance. The motor adopts a rugged cast-iron frame and can be widely used in industrial applications requiring reliable and efficient power transmission.
AXR motors offer higher watts per kilogram than conventional rib-cooled motors, allowing a smaller frame size to be selected for the same output. This helps save installation space and supports more compact system design.
The motors comply with major industry standards such as API 541 and Shell DEP, and can also be customized according to customer specifications.

Enclosure and Cooling
IC411 / IP55 — Standard Configuration
The IC411 cooling method uses an external shaft-mounted fan to draw surrounding air for cooling. The motor is protected against dust and water jets, making it suitable for most indoor and outdoor industrial environments.
IC416 / IP55 — Optional Cooling
The IC416 cooling method uses an independently driven cooling fan. It is especially suitable for low-speed applications or motors operated via variable speed drives.
IP55 Protection
- Dust protection: dust may enter in small amounts but will not affect normal operation
- Water protection: resistant to water jets from any direction
IP66 Protection
- Dust protection: completely dust-tight enclosure

Packaging
The motors are packed in standard seaworthy packages, including plywood cases or fumigated wooden cases. The packaging is suitable for long-distance transportation by sea or land.
Warranty
Standard warranty: 12 months after commissioning or 18 months after delivery, whichever comes first.
Extended warranty is available upon request.
